About Me

I grew up overseas and transitioned back to the United States for university. I graduated with a degree in education and

began teaching in 2019. I had the opportunity to teach during Covid and learned much about how to use online platforms to accomlish work. I enjoyed supporting my colleagues and students in our pursuit of learning.

After three years of teaching in Covid, I was ready for a change. I heard about Salesforce through a friend and after taking Talent Stacker's Five Day Challenge, I joined both Talent Stack and Trailhead and began my Salesforce journey in earnest.

Since then, I have worked on numerous projects, watched countless how-to videos, networked on LinkedIn, achieved my Administrator Certification, and, finally, gotten my Ranger Rank.

Timeline

May 2022 - Resigned my teaching position

June 2022 - Spent time contemplating next career

July 2022 - Joined Trailhead and gained my first badge!

August 2022 - Joined Talent Stacker Professional Development Program

September 2022 - Passed the Administrator Exam / Began volunteer Admin work for a non-profit

October 2022 - Completed a month-long project to configure a fresh Salesforce instance

January 2023 - Joined Clicked Marketing Sprint and began working on Business Analyst Trailmix

February 2023 - Finally got to Ranger Rank

Salesforce Experience

Talent Stacker 07/2022 - Present

Implemented Salesforce Org, on a team of four, to meet over 50 requirements
Designed multi-step Flows to satisfy a variety of company automation needs
Created custom objects, custom fields, and validation rules
Crafted reports and designed dashboards that handled two years of data
Established security protocols to insure organisation integrity.

Irving Independent School District 08/2019 - 05/2022

Analysed data of over 80 students to identify knowledge needs using 3 years of data
Collaborated with teaching team to accelerate student learning by 1.5 years growth
Integrated learning management system to maximise student learning opportunities
Mentored teaching team of 6 to streamline learning management system adoption
Created AVID Site Plan which outlined campus-wide AVID implementation over the next 5-years
